Color!

Emma and I were at the park on the tennis courts and she asks me if she can color and then she points to the graffiti that someone was kind enough to leave on the wall. Probably how that kid got started.

If Only They Were Butterflies

So I have a zit on my chin and Emma pointed to it and said, "Butterfly!" She calls flowers butterflies. So she thinks that a zit is a flower. I wish that all through high school and college I had flowers all over my face. I probably would have been less self conscious.

A Little Girl Now

Emma is growing up and developing preferences of her own:

1. Her nudist desires have continued. I got her up one morning and she had figured out how to take off her jammie pants. So the next night I went in to check on her just in case and she had attempted to take off her jammie pants but got them stuck along with her diaper below the bum. She was low riding it and sleeping with two little cheeks sticking up in the air. I wanted to get a picture but she moved by the time I could get the camera.

2. When she talks on the phone she prefers to sit in the window next to the front door.

3. Emma likes to do to her animals what I do to her. Here she is doing the reindeer's hair.

4. She likes peas now. She asked for them for breakfast yesterday... be still my heart!
5. She loves shoes. She wore my heels to breakfast this morning.

Easter Dress

Emma got to wear her Easter Dress this week. She was sick for Easter so we were a week late. This dress was Aunt Mary dress that she originally got for my niece Katie. I was trying to take a picture of Emma in her dress and she thought I wanted to say prayers with her so she knelt down and folded her arms. Finally I got her to stand up for a picture.
