Prayers

I was fixing John's door knob because it is misaligned so it doesn't engage. The consequence is that John can just get his door open at nap time. Now that John is giving up naps, I am motivated to have him stay in his room for quiet time. As I am fixing his door knob, I couldn't let him through the door because I was in the middle of working on it. John walks away and says, "Hey Jesus, my mom won't let me out. She is working on the door. Hey Jesus, my mom won't let me out." I was giggling inside and also hoping that prayer wasn't answered.
