What Are Your Main Responsibilities?
I had a recruiter call me today and ask me this question. I told him diaper changes. It was the first thing that came to my mind. Probably taking my daughter to the park would have been a better answer based on the amount of time we go there.

Waterway Fountain and Boots
Ever since we moved to The Woodlands I have been wanting to take Emma to the fountains that they have at Market Street and the Waterway. I have had to wait until Emma was big enough and the weather was warm enough. This weekend was the first opportunity. It was adorable and then when it was all said and done, Emma wanted to climb the stairs nearby. I don't know why I bother to take her anywhere besides to stairs. I should take her to BYU on the south side of campus where they have all of those stairs that I hated. She would be in heaven.
Emma loves to try on my boots. She got into my closet and found all of my old boots.

The Nudists
Emma has a nudist streak. It started when she was little. At about 4 months Grandma Lindy discovered the streak. If Emma was fussy, she would take Emma's clothes and diaper off. The world was a happy place after that... until Emma peed on the floor and then I had to clean it up.
Fast forward to last night. Last night was cold so I put Emma in footy jammies. I got her up this morning and she had stripped down to her feet. Apparently she had a hard time getting her jammies off her feet. I don't know if she did this last night or this morning. She did say that she was cold when I got her up. However, she was not interested in putting her jammies back on.
So you might wonder which gene pool she might get this from since Aaron and I run on the modest side of things. As a kid, I ran around with as many pairs of pants and shirts as I could physically dress myself in simultaneously. Aaron's mom tells me that she couldn't keep clothes on him. So I present our family as consisting of a lifelong modest person, a reformed nudist, and a nudist.

Pig Tails
I tried my hand at pig tails today. I learned that I have a lot to learn about doing little girl's hair.

Cheated Death Three Times Today
1. I gave Emma a bath today and noticed her with the classic "I am pooping" face. I yanked her out of the tub in the nick of time. The towel and bath mat took one for the team but I didn't have to clean the tub today.
2. I was putting on makeup and Emma came running over with a small green thing in her hand - gum. She found it somewhere by Aaron's night stand or brief case. She had sampled some of it but I was able to fish it out of her mouth.
3. Emma was playing upstairs and became quiet. I went up to check on her and she had climbed up and got the bottle of baby shampoo. It is a Sam's Club sized bottle with a pump. Fortunately I got to her before she figured out the pump action since she was playing with it over the carpet.

Bluebonnets
We went to Creekside park today to see the bluebonnets and play at the park. This has become a family tradition. Emma wasn't too hip on the bluebonnets part of the tradition and more interested in the wandering around and playing at the park. Most of the pictures she was crinkling her nose and alternating between giving us the stink eye and sticking out her tongue at us.
